Description
This is just a summary; full details will be provided with purchase, and additional information shared as it comes. This is ONLY for the bus; cost of the hotel and tickets are NOT provided.
The bus will depart from the Metro Park and Ride located at 8420 Eager Rd. (It’s at 40 and Hanley; it’s the big parking garage behind the Best Buy there (NOT UNDER THE BEST BUY). The buses will depart at 9am from there; we will not wait if you’re late. We will go straight to the stadium for pregame (with appropriate stops for food, bathroom, etc.); after the game, the buses will take us to the hotel where we have a block of rooms available (information will be sent to bus riders). There is no diverting the buses to alternate locations. The buses will then leave the hotel at 9am on Thursday, and return us to the Metro garage.
There will be storage under the bus for overnight bags, etc. There is small storage overhead the seats for your day bags (not suitcases). You can bring small coolers, snacks, etc. on the bus; NO GLASS ALLOWED. Alcohol is allowed, but be responsible. No smoking/vaping on the bus; there is a bathroom on the bus. We ask that you hold #2 on the bus, as people have to sit near there.
We are going to a Cup Final! This means the buses will be a bit of a party. Not “hanging from the rafters upside down doing beer bongs” type of party, but will be boisterous, people having a good time…it’s not a commercial flight. Kids are fine, but understand that there will be drinking, cursing, singing, etc. on the buses. As Matt Bird once told his kids, “There is game day language, and then there is home language”. Expect the environment to be the North End on wheels with seats, climate control, and less bad officiating.
By purchasing this ticket, you’re agreeing to the rules of the bus trip. You are a representative of the Louligans, and by proxy, the team. The Louligans are not responsible for you and yours: damages, cleaning fees if you make a disaster, ejections from the stadium or hotel are on the individual. Severely inconsiderate behavior at stops will get you left behind. In short, don’t be a dick. We reserve the right to revoke bus privileges prior to departure; if you can’t keep it together, we will not put the other riders’ safety at risk. We’ve yet to leave someone behind, and don’t want to start.
We are incredibly serious when we ask you to clean up after yourselves. The ticket price does not include housekeeping. There is NO reason to leave a mess. If there is a mess and we know who it was, you’ll not be allowed to take a bus again, and if there’s a cleaning fee, you will pay it. It’s all about being a decent person who is respectful of others on the buses and the organizers while having a great time. There will be trash bags, paper towels, even better toilet paper than what the buses offer (women deserve better than that sandpaper!), so there’s no reason to not be responsible. Once you’re on the bus, these are your brothers and sisters for the next 30 hours, let’s have a memorable time while being considerate.
Cost of the seat is $10: This covers the bus trip, the tip for the driver(s), and the supplies (trash bags, paper towels, etc.) The hotel, tickets, food and drink are your responsibility. When you purchase a seat, you will NEED to fill out the form listed below, stating the names and emails for your guests. If its family: kids, partners, etc., don’t worry about filling out. If a friend, you MUST fill it out.). Failure to do so before 10/18 means you won’t get information sent to you, may not be seated together, etc. We will send several emails with critical information, so PLEASE help us out.
This the link that we need you to fill out when you buy a ticket. CLICK HERE. This is how we’ll send you (and your guest) information; a lot of people have payment methods set to a different email than what they use daily, and don’t get the information. So filling this form out is CRITICAL for organizing the trip. We’re not responsible for you not knowing what’s going on if you don’t fill this form out. Thanks. 😀
