We were excited for tonight’s show…Croatia won, England plays tomorrow, there’s been upsets, and we hadn’t had a show since the opening of CITY Park.
But then the news of Grant Wahl’s death broke at the end, and we were gutted. Grant was the voice of American soccer writers, and died in Doha. We ended quickly to process the loss of a great champion of the American game and a great writer.
Our thoughts and condolences are with Grant’s family. Thank you, Grant Wahl.
