3rd Place
Last Results: Draw, 4-0 Win at Swope Park Rangers

Matt Bird has recovered from the World Cup and is here to tell you about our opponent:

Having only garnered 1 point from the past two games against teams lower in the table than us, luckily we get to play Orange County, who are third in the league and have smashed 7 goals and conceded none in their past two games against San Antonio and Swope. This is great news for us as we always play up to our opposition and it will never be in doubt. 3 poins guaranteed from the lads this weekend.

Like Ivan Mirko last weekend, we welcome back another fan favorite this weekend in Mats Bjurman, a definite bright spot last year for us, so let’s give him the reception he deserves.
Again, hopefully he leaves empty handed.

Standings

Saint Louis FC sits in 10th, at 5-6-7

How to watch: ESPN+

Charity Du Jour:

This week is Missouri Humane Society again (carryover since last week was light due to the storms).  Not only are they a great service to the area when it comes to dogs and cats, they’re also the charity that Sgt. Craig Kriska has chosen.  For those that don’t know, Craig is our STL County officer that is in our corner helping keep the peace.  The Kriska family lost their son,82nd Airborne Division Paratrooper PFC Justin Kriska recently.  In lieu of flowers, the family requested donations to the Humane Society.  So we are taking care of our own this week.  Please be generous, as Craig always has our back, and we have his.

We also will have a STLFC Pride Mission Taco jersey signed by the entire team for raffle.  Find one of our volunteers with the raffle tickets to get a chance to win the signed jersey.  Tickets are $1 each, six for $5.

Louligan Cartels:

Drums and capos: We march in 1/2 hour before kickoff. Anyone can join the march in! Drummers usually need assistance carrying in the drum stands, so if you can help out, see them as they organize prior to the march.

Tailgate: It’s summer in St. Louis, so that means cookout!  This week we will have brats…the pineapple brats that we took to Evansville that were amazing!  We’ll have the fixin’s, plus the cookout appropriate cole slaw and potato salad.  The free beer will be from Kirkwood Station; the collectable cups will be $5. (carryover since last week was light due to the storms)

Newligans: If you’re new and this is your first game day, say hi! There will be several of our Newligan Cartel walking around, wearing badges showing their name on it.  Feel free to grab one of them and introduce yourself; they’re wearing that badge as a way to indicate they’re there to help you join the crowd.  There will be a Newligans table by the trailer in case you don’t see a badged member.
You also can exchange your ticket at their table for a wristband for the march in, so we can proceed through the gate more efficiently.

Merchandise: We will have the 2018 Louligan scarves and the 2018 This Is Silly! Podcast scarves.  $20 per scarf, cash or credit.  There aren’t many left of the podcast scarves, so get them while you can!

The red line will be the march to the game.  The march starts 30 minutes before kickoff (7:00pm).
