2015 has rung in the new year in more ways than one for USLPRO expansion franchise Louisville City.
After signing 3 players in December 2014, the club are delighted to announce the acquisitions of Kentucky soccer veterans Cletus and Bobby Ray Davenport. The Davenports, who grew up together in the Paintsville area of eastern KY, played from an early age in the slagheaps of coal before gaining a scholarship to Appalachia Community college. Scouted from an early age by the peacekeepers, the brothers and/or cousins played for various mining teams around District 13.

It isn’t just on the field moves that have taken the league to new directions. Off the field, Louisville are proud to announce the video and media partnership with “TinCan Productions”
TinCan chief executive, Ricky Twunt issued a statement that “TinCan is proud to be a live streaming partner for Louisville City, our production company has been slow at the back end of 2014 since our last project, Here Comes Honey booboo, was cancelled without notice”.
In keeping with LCFC’s attempt to integrate more equality into the workplace, TinCan is rumored to be looking for a feminine voice to color commentate the games, Applicants should be used to having strong opinions on soccer and at ease with being on camera.
“Quite Frankly, the only live streaming I ever did was in a rubber ring down the Tainted Creek River with my family and a cooler of Kentucky Common” said TinCan employee Jeremiah Ferguson.
Finally, after searching for a more soccer specific stadium within the City, LCFC have finalized a deal to play at Louisville Slugger park. The Louisville Coopers are advising fans to sit along the 1st base line, kids can bring their own gloves to catch foul balls and the fans are already looking forward to the “70th minute stretch”
